Linda L. Dittoe

A funeral service for Linda L. Dittoe, 62, of Thornville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.  Friends may call from 10 AM until time of the funeral services at the funeral home, 56 S. Main St. in Thornville.

Linda was born March 26, 1961, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Meredith and Helen (Eveland) Mohler. She passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at OSU Hospital East. She was a 1979 graduate of Sheridan High School, attended the Ohio State University, and enjoyed a long career in banking, retiring from Chase Bank as an Account Administrator.

Linda was an active person who enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycle rides, bowling, road trips for ice cream, and most especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was a member of Thornport Amvets Women’s Auxiliary. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Thornville.

She is survived by her loving family: Her husband, Ronald J. Dittoe, whom she married on Sept 5, 1993; her sons, Rusty (Kayla), Nick (Sydney), and Austin (Darien) Dittoe; her grandchildren, Rylee, Jaxon, Hunter, Charli Mae, Noah, and Boone; her brothers, Steve (Mary) Mohler, Chet (Patty) Mohler, and Phil Mohler; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Mohler; sister, Barb Holbrook; and in-laws, Jack and Carolyn Dittoe.
