Linda L. Lovell

Linda L. Lovell, 57, of Newark, passed away on November 18, 2021 at the Hospice Unit at the OSU Medical Center. She was born in Newark, Ohio on August 26, 1964 to the late George and Helen (Craig) Smith. Linda was a devoted mom to her son, Jonathon. She enjoyed gardening, reading, volunteering and was a cat lover. Most important was the time she spent with her son, family and friends. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathon Lovell and Carmen Lydia; step-children, Carlos Paul (Chris Nett-Avilez) Lovell, Jason Lovell, Jody Lovell and Roger Lovell; sister, Karen Smith; niece, Amanda; nephews, David Smith and Brandon Turner; and other nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lovell; and brother, Terry. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linda to Hospice of Central Ohio or the American Cancer Society. Private burial services will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville, where Linda will be the first natural burial in the cemetery.
