Linda Sue Scott

Linda “Sue” Scott, 75 of Newark passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on December 14, 2024. She was born in Newark, Ohio on October 6, 1949 to the late James W. and Elizabeth (Thompson) Crothers. Sue was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed playing cards, word search books, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her loving daughter, Jessica Vermillion; grandchildren, Jasmine Vermillion and Patricia Vermillion; sister, Barbara Palat; sister-in-law, Debra Crothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Aaliyah Vermillion; and brothers, Danny K. Crothers and James A. Crothers.
