Linda Lou Shaffer

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Linda Lou Shaffer, 73, of Etna, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Brother Jim Haines as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of the services at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville.

Linda passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Pickerington following an extended illness. She was born in Portsmouth, on Jul 28, 1947 the daughter of the late Fred and Mabel (Stevens) Bentley.

A lifelong homemaker, she enjoyed serving the Lord in various capacities over the years. She loved going to Church and attended the Kirkersville and Reynoldsburg Apostolic Churches over the years and with her husband, operated a children’s bus ministry for years in Hebron and Buckeye Lake before her health declined. She also enjoyed shopping, and going out to eat with her friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert, whom she married on November 10, 1963; her children Sandra Shaffer, Robert (Octember) Shaffer, Carolyn (Robert) Curl, Brian (Angela) Shaffer, Linda (Jason) Kaiser and April (James) Wolfe; her 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
