Lois Mcglone

Lois J. (Hillman) McGlone, 79, of Thornville, passed away on Friday, December 06, 2013 at The Inn at Fairfield Village in Lancaster. She was born on August 15, 1934 in Webbville, KY., daughter of the late Robert and Dosha (Hammond) Hillman. Lois retired from Nationwide Insurance in 1994 after 37 years of service. She attended Franklin University and enjoyed reading, camping, and snowbirding to Florida. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Lisa (Terry) Kleman; grandsons, Dalton and Hunter Kleman; special cousin, Sharon Miller; nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved Poodle, Patty. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Floyd who died in 2011; two brothers, Robert and Donald Hillman and her sister, Helen Willard. A funeral service, celebrating Lois life, will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St., with Pastor Chip Koch officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Ridge Cemetery.
