Lonnie Blackburn

Lonnie Blackburn, age 61, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).

Lonnie was born December 14, 1961 in Kentucky to the late John Everett and Frances Dora (Sullivan) Blackburn. He was a graduate of Newark High School and was employed as a cook at TJ’s for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Blackburn; children, Floyd Morrison and family, Troy Ankrum and family, and Jessica and Phil Pinkston and family, Holly Webber and family, B-Linda (Conner) Allen and family; and all the adopted ones; brothers, John and Vicki Blackburn and family and Ronnie Blackburn; sister, Shirley Anderson and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Allen.
