Lou G. "Rose" Culp

December 16, 1932 — July 10, 2018

A funeral service celebrating the life of Lou G. Rose (Morrison) Culp, age 85, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, at the Jersey Baptist Church Chapel with Pastor Lyndel Hix officiating. Entombment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, at Jersey Baptist Church in the North Venue, 13260 Morse Road, New Albany. Rose was born December 17, 1932 in Newville, WV, to the late Homer Stanley and Nellie (Gillespie) Morrison. She passed away on July 10, 2018. Rose was a longtime resident of Pataskala and more recently resided at Concord Manor in Johnstown. She will be always be remembered as Granny and for the love she had for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, none of which ever left her presence without a kiss and an I Love You. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Lyndel) Hix of Tulsa, OK, Starla (John) Wetmore of Alexandria and Dr. T. Michael Culp of London England; grandchildren, Brandon (Rebecca) Hix, Lacy (Brad) Kepler, Ryan (Jillian) Wetmore and Ashleigh (Gordon) Moodie; and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Thomas, and an infant daughter, Deon; sisters, Jane Lewis and Freda McQuain; and brothers, Charles and Paul Morrison. The family would like to thank Mark & Linda Harger and all the wonderful, caring aides at Concord Manor (all of whom were truly gifts from our Lord) for Roses care this past year. Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Kirkersville is honored to care for Rose and her family.
