Louella Elizabeth "Wally" Moran

A funeral service celebrating the life of Louella Elizabeth “Wally” Moran, age 69, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Major Ron DeMichael officiating. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.

Louella, fondly known as Wally, was born September 25, 1949 in Newark, Ohio to the late Charles Frederick and Ethel Bell (Amspaugh) Siegle. She passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her home.

Wally was a homemaker and volunteered for many years with the Salvation Army and the Licking County Aging Program. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by a daughter, Jen (Brian) Stuck of Howard; two sons, Jason (Stephanie) Moran and Jerrod Moran, all of Newark; grandchildren, Devin (Amanda) Moran, Kenneth, Josh, Brittony and Kody (Crystal) Stuck, Dakota and Amberlynn Moran and Cameron Long; great-granddaughters, Miley Moran and Stevie Anne Gracelynn Stuck; sister-in-law, Mary Gwynn of Newark; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Edward Moran, who died March 8, 2000; and by a son, Jeffrey A. Moran on April 25, 2009.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.
