Lu Juan Pflaum

Lu J. Pflaum, 91, of Heath, passed away at her residence on January 8, 2025. She was born in Canal Winchester, Ohio on November 25, 1933 to the late Zebulon and Glenna (White) Taylor. Prior to retirement, she was a school bus driver and supervisor of the bus garage for the Columbus City Schools for 35 years. She also retired from White’s Pharmacy after 16 years. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her niece, gambling on riverboats and spending time with her loving family. Survivors include her children, Lanette Brewer, Lori Ann (Richard) Jones, and Lorraine (Rocky) Slone; grandchildren, Travis Brewer, Alex (Terisa) Brewer, Breanna Brewer, Chase Brewer, Shane (Jennifer) Jones, Carla Jones, Dante Jones, Sean Jones, Chad (Erica) Jones and Caitlyn Michalski; special niece, Carol Paolini; and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Laroy Pflaum Sr.; daughter, Lisa Clark; son, Laroy Pflaum Jr.; granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Jones; sister, Margaret Paolini; and her two loving dogs, Lucy and Corky. A graveside funeral service will be held at a later date at Kirkersville Cemetery. The family would like to thank Ohio Living Hospice for all of the love and care that was provided to Lu during her illness.
