It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lydia Rose Dupler, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence for 23 remarkable years. Born on July 3, 2000, Lydia was a radiant spirit who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lydia, the treasured daughter of Lori Dupler and Arney Dupler, was a beacon of joy and inspiration to her family. Lydia shared a special bond with her brother, Adam, and their sibling connection was a testament to the strength of family ties. Lydia's journey in education was marked by dedication and excellence. Lydia is survived by her loving parents, Arney R. Dupler and Lori B. (Wilson) Dupler; her best friend and brother, Adam; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Dupler; maternal grandmother, “BA” Marilyn Wilson; aunts and uncles, Chad (Samantha) Dupler, Jerry (Joan) Dupler, Leslie Wilson, George “Scott” Wilson; numerous cousins including Kenna Bullard and Noah Ferrier along with many many special friends that were family to Lydia. A proud 2018 graduate of Millersport High School, she demonstrated an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence. Lydia continued her educational pursuits at the Central Ohio Technical College (COTC), where she earned her nursing degree in December of 2023. Lydia was employed at Fairfield Medical Center since 2022 and had recently accepted a full-time nursing position. She loved her FMC work family; they were more than colleagues to her. Lydia's impact on the lives of others extended far beyond her professional pursuits. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine compassion endeared her to friends, family, and colleagues alike. Lydia's smile had the power to brighten the darkest days, and her laughter echoed with the joy of a life well-lived. In times of sorrow, let us remember Lydia not with sadness but with gratitude for the moments we shared, the lessons she taught us, and the love she showered upon us. Though her time with us was cut short, Lydia's legacy live on in the hearts of all of us. As we bid farewell to Lydia, let us honor her memory by carrying forward the love, compassion, and resilience she embodied. May her spirit find eternal peace, and may the memories of her radiant presence comfort us in the days ahead. Rest in peace, dear Lydia, your light will forever shine in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 3-7 PM Wednesday, January 17,2024 at Millersport High School gymnasium, 11850 Lancaster St, Millersport, Ohio 43046 where a service will begin at 7 PM Wednesday with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating.
