Lynne Ann (West) Caughell

A funeral service celebrating the life of Lynne Ann (West) Caughell, age 53, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 6004 Linnville Road SE in Newark with Pastor George Winston officiating. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery.Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at the Hebron Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 108 North 7th Street in Hebron and also from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church.Lynne was born July 3, 1964 in Newark, Ohio. She passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).Lynne was a 1982 graduate of Lakewood High School and a 1986 graduate of The Ohio State University. She was employed as an Environmental Specialist with the State Fire Marshalls Office working for the Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulation. Lynne was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and enjoyed writing, hiking, birdwatching and spending time with her family.She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Caughell, whom she married October 16, 1994; and by three children, Joanna E. Caughell, Andrea J. Caughell and Michael L. Caughell, Jr.; her mother, Patricia Andrea (Brooks) West; sister, Charlene (Timothy) Clinger; many nieces and nephews; and her mother-in-law, Anita Caughell.She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Hollis West, Jr. and father-in-law, John E.
