Mabel Irene Proudley, age 95, of Newark, passed away at Arlington Care Center on July 9, 2016. She was born in Newark, Ohio on May 7, 1921 to the late George and Mary (Devore) Miller.Irene was a devoted homemaker. She was an animal lover, enjoyed working in her yard and loved spending time with family and friends. She was also an active resident of Arlington Care Center, where Sunday was known as donut day, where she looked forward to passing out donuts, with her daughter, Shirley, to the residents.Survivors include her children, Patricia I. (Larry) Farmer, Donna V. (Ross Pyatt) Nichols and Shirley A. (Edward) Monroe; step-daughter, Janice (Albert) Johnson; grandchildren, Kimberly K. Kopp Hardin, James Jym D. (Leslie) Farmer, Kenneth Earl (Robin) Nichols; Shelly (Roger) Thompson, Donald Monroe, and Annalissa Monroe; great grandchildren, Joshua Hardin, Jacob Hardin, Lissann Woodrow, Ashlee Woodrow, Luke Monroe, Alayna Monroe and Brandon Farmer; great great granddaughter, Avery Lynn Hardin; and several other step-children.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three spouses, Walter E. Fulk, Walter Eagle and John Proudley; brothers, Raymond, Charles, John and Leasure; and sisters, Marguerite, Mary, Ellen, Martha and Lillian.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Irene to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr. SW, Heath, Ohio 43056.The family would like to Arlington Care Center and their staff for all of the love and compassionate care provided to Irene.At Irenes request, no funeral services will be held.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Irene and the Proudley family.
