Mack Degroat

Mack DeGroat, age 73, of Heath, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2014 at his home. Born October 11, 1941 in Pineville, Missouri, Mack was the son of the late John Clifford and Jean DeGroat. Mack had been a truck driver with Kaywood Trucking in Missouri and was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed woodworking, mechanics and spending time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ginger R. (Cumberledge) DeGroat, whom he married May 1, 1981; son, Ryan A. Murvine of Newark; daughter-in-law, Lovina Murvine of Newark; granddaughters, Rochelle and Miranda Murvine, both of Newark; brother, David DeGroat of Anderson, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. According to his wishes, there will be no service or calling hours observed. A private inurnment will take place at a later date in Missouri.
