Madalyn Kate Sterrett

Madalyn K. Sterrett, 22 years old, formerly of Parkersburg, WV, a graduate of Williamstown High School, passed away in Rockledge, FL on September 9th, 2017. She was born on May 21st, 1995 in Beech Grove, IN. Maddie enjoyed music, playing guitar, cross stitch, drawing, gardening and animal husbandry. She loved the beauty found in nature and reading a good book. She loved all animals especially her dog Riven and new kitty Hazel. Maddie loved the underdog and found that in her first rescue dog, Cooper. Kind and compassionate, Maddie was drawn towards helping others. Maddie is survived by her father and mother, Max and Nancy Sterrett, sister Sadie, grandparents Ann and Kaywin Lindsay, sister Erin White and brother Joshua Lindsay, Denise Lindsay, Uncles, Aunts, a nephew, a niece and many cousins. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 pm on Saturday September 23rd, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Williamstown. Services will begin at 2pm with Pastor Tony Foreman officiating.
