Mamie E. Mccormick

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mamie E. McCormick, age 101, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Mamie was born March 9, 1920 in Licking County, Ohio to the late Charles and Mattie (Evans) Cramer. She passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.)

She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.
