Marcella Sue Strohl

Marcella Sue (Hinkle) Strohl, 83, of Thornville, passed away from COVID 19 complications on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Zanesville. She was born April 21, 1937 in New Lexington, the daughter of the late Elmer and Viola (Wilson) Hinkle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Strohl on December 18, 2020, and her son Michael Strohl on December 30, 2020; along with her sons Ricky and David in 2014; her brothers Donald and Eddie Hinkle; sister Linda Wallace.

She is survived by her daughter Karen (Naman) Sartin of Columbus, her son Timothy Strohl of Columbus; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Shrivers Hospice, Cedar Hill Care Center and Brookdale Senior Living for their wonderful care of Marcella.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, where funeral services celebrating her life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lee Crader as celebrant.  Marcella will be laid to rest in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville with her husband and sons following the service.
