Margaret Elizabeth Wigle Pendleton

A funeral service celebrating the life of Margaret Elizabeth Wigle Pendleton, age 82, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Eric Barsotti officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Margaret was born February 18, 1934 in Newark, Ohio to the late James and Indus (Vance) Wills. She passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Margaret retired from Licking Memorial Hospital where she had been employed for 25 years in the laundry department. She enjoyed gardening.She is survived by three daughters, Judy (Ernie) Merrill, Peggy (Bill) Sadowski and Janet (Garrett) Ogilbee, all of Newark; three step-daughters, Cynthia Pendleton of Mount Vernon, Linda (Lester) Grennell of Utica and Brenda Layton (Richard McGinnis) of Howard; fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Al (Carolyn) Wills of Florida and Viola Messina of Newark; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Tom Pendleton on February 1, 2016; her former husband, Nathan D. Wigle; and by three brothers, twin infant brothers and a sister.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Margaret and her family.
