Margaret L. Schulze, 90, of Buckeye Lake, died early Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her home with loved one by her side. She was born June 26, 1926, in Columbus, the daughter of the late William and Grace (Weethee) Schulze. Marge was a graduate of Columbus Central H.S., class of 1944, and had worked at her familys store, prior to working for Yeager Machinery until her retirement. She was an active member of the Buckeye Lake First Community Church and a member of the Ladies Guild. She loved working at the Youth Center at Buckeye Lake and volunteered at the Leads programs for over 30 years. She loved to make waffles at the sweetcorn festival. She is survived by her brother Raymond (Joyce) Schulze and sister-in-law Vivian Schulze, along with many nieces and nephews. Her special friends Ethel and George Braden became like her family and their daughter Jackie was a dedicated caregiver to Marge in her illness, allowing her to remain at her home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her friend Betty Peterson, siblings Hannah McDonald, William, Robert, Albert, James, Leroy and Harold Schulze. Friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville, and again on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 10:00 until 11:00a.m., when funeral services will be held. Her Pastor, Kevin Blade will officiate. Burial will follow in Green lawn Cemetery, Columbus. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the First Community Church, Buckeye Lake.
