Margaret "Meg" Lunghofer

Margaret Eleanor "Meg" Lunghofer, of Pataskala, formerly of Zanesville, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 following a brief illness.She was born November 14, 1923 in Altoona, Pa., the daughter of the late Thomas Rae and Mary M. (Miller) Donahue. Retired educator and Guidance Counselor in the West Muskingum school district for many years.Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Lunghofer, on August 17, 2004.Survived by her sons Terry (Vicki) Lunghofer and their children Kathleen (Aaron) Birrell, Daniel (Tonya) Lunghofer; Dennis (Cindy) Lunghofer and their children Scott (Autumn) Armstrong, Jeffrey R. Lunghofer; brother Thomas Donahue of Chambersburg, Pa.Meg was a member of several Educational and Counseling organizations. During her life in Zanesville, she was a member of the All Around Club. She enjoyed skiing, Volksporting and hiking for over 30 years.Honoring Megs requests, there will be no visitation or services locally. She will be inurned with her beloved husband Joseph in the Arlington National Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
