Margie Anna Lea Kitchen, 76, of Hebron, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born May 25, 1944 in Bradshaw, WV, the daughter of the late Alvie O. and Gladys C. (Scully) Colman.
Margie worked as a clerk at the Hebron Drug Store and Fitch’s Market for many years. She also acted as a substitute teacher and cook at the Hebron Elementary School. She was a member of the Hebron Christian Church, the former Hebron Fire Sirens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce in 2009.
She is survived by her sons Jeff and Brian (Dawn) Kitchen of Hebron, her brother Ronnie Colman and sister Rosemary Wilson; her grandchildren Veronica Kitchen, Cody, Kitchen, Payton Heisler, Devin and Zoie Kitchen; her four great-grandchildren; her brother in law Dana (Brenda) Kitchen of Hebron and her sister in law Diane (Bob) Lamp of Thornville.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a celebration of life and graveside inurnment of both her and Bruce’s remains will take place in the spring at the Hebron Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
