Marian Davis

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Marian Davis, 80, of Hebron, will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Nik Donges, officiating. Burial will follow at the Kirkersville Cemetery.Marian passed away on Thursday, October 18 in Newark. She was born in Newark, on August 25, 1932 to the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Cooper) Fitch.Marian dedicated her life to her husband, family and the community. In addition to belonging to the Hebron Christian Church, she was a 50+ member of the Eagon Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion Post 285, the Ladies Auxillary of the Buckeye Lake VFW, the Jr. Womens Club, the Mutual Civic Improvement club, the Ladies Auxillary of the Fire Dept., the Veterans Memorial committee, the Ladies Auxillary of the 772 MP, she was a member of the Lakewood School Board and a member of the Dorcas Club at church. In addition to all the community work, she loved to bake during the holiday seasons.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; her son Mike (Beth) of Heath, her grand-children: Jennifer, Susan, Christa, Adam, Joy and Shannon; her great-grand-children: Kaleb, Faith, Keelee, Ty and Emmet; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of the HOSKINSON funeral and Cremation Service located at 285 E.
