Marie Frances Litsch

A funeral service celebrating the life of Marie Frances Litsch, age 80, of Heath, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Clifford Mason as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Newark.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Marie was born June 10, 1943 in Long Island, New York to the late John and Muriel (Zoll) Peldunas. She passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at her home.

Marie was an upholsterer for many years. A very creative person, Marie enjoyed sewing, painting, crafts, reading, and flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Litsch, Jr., whom she married September 17, 1960; son, George Litsch III of Long Beach, New York; daughters, Tammy (Brian) Grigsby of Heath and Jennifer Litsch of Dublin; grandchildren, Steven Miller, Brian Miller, Tyler Litsch, Trent Litsch, and Maeli Pennell; great-grandchildren, Landon Miller, Jackson Miller, and one on the way; sister-in-law, Lillian Ann Seaman of East Northport, New York; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Lewis.
