Marie F. Welch

Marie F. Welch, age 62, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Marie was born July 28, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio.

Marie was a clerk with Knox Community Hospital for eight years and prior to that had been employed with The Advocate for many years. She enjoyed hunting, crocheting, reading, and cooking.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 44 years, Arthur P. Welch, whom she married October 12, 1976; a son, Arthur Jay “A.J.” Welch of Newark; daughter, Anna Marie (Travis) Brunaugh of Newark; sister, Deby Fields of Mooresville, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Clara Welch of Newark; in-laws, Richard and Christina Welch of Newark, Earl Welch and Donna Dubois of Heath, Star-Dell and Tom Gilliland of St. Louisville and Becky and Dan Mahon of Zanesville; and many nieces and nepehws.

At her request there will be no service observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehab Activities Fund.
