Marilyn Ann Pierce

Marilyn Ann Pierce, 68, of Newark passed away on April 14, 2015 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab Center of Newark. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 26, 1947 to the late John and Alvena (Gooch) Pierce.Prior to retirement, she worked for Callanders Cleaners for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, knitting and especially enjoyed helping others.She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Tom Drasal of Cecilia, Kentucky.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, June Fitzgerald; and her beloved step-mother, Ida.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marilyn to the American Heart Association, by visitingwww.heart.org.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Pierce family.
