Marilyn H. Oney

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Marilyn H. Oney, age 76, of Utica, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor David Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.Marilyn was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 31, 1939 to the late Edgar Franklin and Bessie (McGuire) Wymer. She passed away at her residence on January 6, 2016.Prior to retirement, Marilyn was a medical technician with Licking Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of Utica United Methodist Church and was devoted to reading and studying her bible daily. She had an uplifting personality and loved everyone she met.Marilyn is survived by cousins, many friends and her loving pets, Andy and Freddie.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Oney; two brothers; and one sister.Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Friday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Marilyn and her family.
