Marina Ter-Saakova

  A funeral service celebrating the life of Marina Ter-Saakova, 58, of Newark, will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Marina was born in Baku, Azerbaijan on August 9, 1960 to the late Boris and Zina (Vanyagina) Khadjibekov.  She passed away at her residence on September 27, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. Prior to retirement, she was an engineer for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, shopping and especially enjoyed hosting parties for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Arkadi Ter-Saakov; son, Roman (Brittany) Ter-Saakov; daughter, Anna Ter-Saakova; sister, Tamara (Dzhon) Arutyunova; grandchild, Zina Ter-Saakov; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
