A funeral service, celebrating the life of Marjorie M. Tessler, 96, formerly of Hebron, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation service, with Chaplain Phil Williams as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Licking Cemetery. Marjorie passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, in Worthington, the daughter of the late Lewis and Myrtle (Touvel) Markle. She was born July 28, 1920 in Lore City. She worked many years as a Nurses Aide in the old Newark Hospital. A Baptist by faith, she attended the Linworth Baptist Church most recently. She is survived by her loving family: Daughters Janice (Charles) VanDyke, Shirley (Harry) Lytle, Sue Tessler, Alice (Michael) Fletcher; her 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband John Tessler Sr. in 1985, an infant son James Michael Tessler and her son John Tessler Jr. in 2012. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning, Feburary 11, 2017 from 11:00 until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
