A graveside service for Marjorie Warnock-Pape, age 94, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Betsy Williams officiating. There will be no calling hours observed.
Marjorie was born November 10, 1923 in Howe Bridge, Lancashire, England to the late William and Maggie (Davies) Ward. She passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital.
Marjorie was very proud to have been a munitions worker in England during World War II. She met and married her husband during the war and came to the United States with him in 1946. She became a U.S. Citizen in 1963. Marjorie was currently employed as a bookkeeper at the Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program (LAPP).
She is survived by five children, Valerie, John (Libby), Hazel (Walter), Sheila and Sherri; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, David Lee Warnock and Ben Pape; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Eric Ward and Kenneth Ward.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LAPP or the Disabled American Veterans of Ohio.
