Mark A. Ford

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Mark A. Ford, 59, of Pataskala, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 26, 2016, in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Matt VanWinkle as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. Mark died peacefully on Wednesday evening, April 19, 2016 in Columbus, following an extended illness. He was born in Columbus, on December 2, 1956, the son of the late Henry and Ada (Leist) Ford. He was a 1974 graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S., and had worked as plant manager for the Hexcel Corporation. He loved to go fishing, family get-togethers and cook-outs. His grandchildren were his life, and he was taught by his wife Cathy to say y-all. In addition to his wife Cathy, he is survived by his daughter Jessica Hedges and her husband Daniel of Laurelville, step-daughter Jennifer Griffith, step-son Michael Griffith, his brother Joseph Ford, sisters Sandy (Del) Kern, Marty Mary Ford, Alice Riggle, Debra Parkey; his six grandchildren Tanner, Maria, Miranda, Kaitlynn ,Kristina and Austin; along with Aunt Mary Drake and Uncle Dan Seifert and numerous other relatives.The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. An on-line guest register and video tribute are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com Memorials may be directed to the funeral home at P.O.
