Mark Wayne Bachman

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mark Wayne Bachman, age 59, of Millersport, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.

Mark was born April 17, 1965 in Newark, Ohio to the late Charles Ray Bachman and the late Barbara (Boerstler) Bachman Freeman. He passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.

Mark was employed by Hendrickson in Hebron, Ohio. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and enjoyed fish tanks.

He is survived by three children, Jason C. Bachman (Kate Thevenin), Matthew Bachman and Hayley Brock; several grandchildren; brothers, Michael Bachman and Ryan Bachman; and special friends, Melanie Kanniard and Kevin Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glynna Bachman-Ferguson.
