Mark David Hanson

Mark David Hanson, 55, of Kirkersville, passed away January 26, 2022 in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. He grew up and lived in Kirkersville, where he had many treasured memories and friends. He was a graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S., class of 1986. Survived by his parents, David and Jane Hanson; precious daughter Megan (Jean) and baby Ruben Patrick Posner; beloved son Matthew; brother Jeff (Rochelle) Hanson; “Best Friend” Wilma Epifano and her loving family; special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends, young, old and in-between. He was a devoted employee of Cows R Us Transport (Jim and Jessica Hull) and had developed a special love and compassion for the people associated with that business. He had a deep sense of thinking, a quick wit, and most of all, he desired to live at peace with everyone as much as he could (Romans 12:18).

Contributions in Mark’s memory may be made to the Hebron New Life United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 459, Hebron, Ohio 43025, for their proposed Baby Pantry and Community Center to help families and youth of the area.

Mark will be laid to rest in the Kirkersville Cemetery with graveside services at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022. A celebration of his life will follow at a later date.
