Mark Anthony Humphrey

Mark Anthony Humphrey, age 61, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Laurels of Heath. Mark was born September 15, 1959 in Newark, Ohio to the late Sewell F., Sr. and the late Tollie (Pettibone) Humphrey.

Mark retired from Owens Corning. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. An avid football fan, Mark followed the Michigan State Spartans, Denver Broncos and the Dallas Coyboys.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Rose (Boren) Humphrey; daughters, Stephanie Overbey, Tiffany Lawrence and Brittany Sharkey; step-daughter, Amanda Hockett; step-sons, Jason Ray Laughery and Jacob Adam Laughery; ten grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Sam Humphrey, Mike Humphrey, Rose Huffner, Larry Humphrey and Kathy Humphrey; many nieces and nephews; and friend, Mike Crozier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Sewell F. Humphrey, Jr. and David Humphrey; and sisters, Janet Sargent, Vickie Culver and Mary Maharg.

The family will observe a private memorial.
