A Graveside Service celebrating the life of Mark Douglas Snyder will be held at 1pm, on Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Millersport Cemetery in Millersport, Ohio. Pastor Jim Vanover, from the Lighthouse Memorial Church will officiate. Family and friends may call from 12pm, until the 1pm service time at the Millersport Cemetery, the casket will be open throughout the services. Mark, 67, of Millersport, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Newark. He was born June 9, 1953, in Columbus, a son of the late William F. and Vivian Mae (Fuller) Snyder. He had served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. For many years he had worked as a truck driver. He loved fishing and camping and was a member of the Lighthouse Memorial Church. Mark loved his Lord Jesus Christ, his family and his country and was proud to serve. In addition, after those he was an Ohio State Buckeye at any time of year and always ended his conversations with a robust “Go Bucks!”. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debra (Nelson) Snyder, whom he married on April 11, 1987; his children, Mark D. Snyder Jr. (Paula), Shana Lynn Hall; his beloved grandchildren, McClain Snyder, Carson Snyder , Christopher Snyder, Mark D. “Tres” Snyder, III, Adam Zimmerman, Mathew Zimmerman, Aaron Shilling, William Shilling and Destiny Rainwater; five great grandchildren; two brothers, William Snyder (Monica), Jeffory Snyder (Debbie), sisters, Karen Burts (Charles), Sheila Timmons, Holly Ross (Darrell), Debbie Sue Leady (George), Kimberly Dayton, Denise Cunningham (Chris); many nieces, nephews and friends.
