Mark S. Waibel, Sr.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mark S. Waibel, Sr., 66, of Thornville, will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lighthouse Memorial Church, 2600 Walnut Rd., Route 79, Millersport, Ohio, with Pastor Bill Beard officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mark was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 20, 1952 to the late Carl Henry and Margaret Anne (Verhoff) Waibel.  He passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, Ohio on November 22, 2018. Prior to retirement, Mark was an estimator and an electrician with Waibel Electric, a family owned and operated company.  He was a member of Lighthouse Memorial Church in Millersport, where he served as a trustee.  Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Donna June (Senig) Waibel, whom he married July 23, 1982; children, Lisa A. Waibel, Mark Waibel, Jr. and Andy Lee (Danielle) Waibel; brothers and sisters, Dianne (Charlie) Farrell, Ruth (David) Crist, Carl (Sherry) Waibel, Jr., Joan (David) Elliott and Donna (Mark) Thogmartin; grandchildren, Hailey, Bailey, Casey, Sabastian, Keegan, Pixie, Bryce, Chase, Jocelyn, Alexandria and Malaina; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
