Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Mark Jeffery Welsh, 62, of Granville, will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral Home with Pastor Kae Merold as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 285 East main St. In Kirkersville on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to the funeral services on Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Mark passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at his home in Granville. He was born in Newark on June 25, 1959, the son of the late John Frederick and Phyllis (Warner) Welsh of Granville. He was a graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S. class of 1977 and was a self-employed handyman. He had skills laying flooring, doing concrete work, and hanging drywall. He was described as a “Tinkerer” at large, who enjoyed playing the guitar and loved music. He is survived by his loving family, which in addition to his mother includes his children John (Megan) and Joshua (Amy Degenhart) Welsh, Samantha Welsh, his brother Jay (Karen) Welsh and his children Daniel, Leslie, Kelsey and Brandy, along with many friends. The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Outville Presbyterian Church, 6463 Outville Rd. S.W., Pataskala, Ohio 43062.
