Martin Allen Hobbs

Martin Allen Hobbs, 48, of Baltimore, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his home. He was born August 9, 1974, in Ada, Oklahoma, the son of Frederick Hobbs and Carol Rowlee Wogan.

A skilled auto body technician, he worked for a number of auto dealers over the years, currently for Dave Gill Chevrolet in Columbus. He enjoyed racing, building trucks, motorcycles and attending his son’s sporting events.

He is survived by his family: mother and stepfather Carol and John Wogan of Baltimore, his sons Gage and Kalib Hobbs, his stepdaughter Mylan Saffle; his siblings John (Chris) Hobbs, Tonya (Rob) Hogan, John Wogan Jr., Patricia Wogan and Michelle (Jeff) Helm; along with many friends, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, August 4, 2023, from 3-6 PM at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main St. (US Rt 40) in Kirkersville; where funeral services celebrating his life will follow at 6 p.m.

Memorial contributions in Martin’s memory can be directed to the family to help defray final expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
