Marvin Eugene Anderson

Marvin Eugene Anderson, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, in his hometown of Newark, Ohio. Born on Friday, June 12th, 1959, Marvin spent his life in the community he loved, surrounded by family and friends.

Marvin was a skilled electrician, known for his exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to his trade. His passion extended beyond his profession, as he was also an exceptional handyman, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He is survived by his loving son, Raymond Anderson; his cherished mother, Connie (Moreland) Anderson; devoted sisters, Connie Sue Hewitt and Roxann Reber; and his brother, Garland (Michele) Anderson. Marvin also leaves behind his beloved step-sons, John Spires and Jeremy Spires, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Anderson; sister, Marcia Thompson; and brothers, Richard Anderson and Rick Anderson.

In honoring Marvin's wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service - Newark. Marvin's memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy of kindness and craftsmanship will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
