A funeral service celebrating the life of Mary A. Johnson, age 56, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Clifford Mason as Celebrant. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.Mary was born August 18, 1961 in Newark, Ohio to the late James Dale and Lelia Gertrude (Ludwig) Lybarger. She passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Mary was a graduate of Newark High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her cats and dogs.She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Robert C. Rob Johnson II; two daughters, Alicia Ann (Jessee) Compton of Reynoldsburg and Robyn Lynn (Scott) Rhoades of Baltimore; grandchildren, Matthew, Anthony and Jayla; sisters, Patty Ann Lybarger and Teresa Lynn Spergin, both of Newark; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Mary and her family.
