Mary Alice Wilson

Mary Alice Wilson, 67, of Newark, passed away on December 24, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newark, Ohio on July 12, 1957 to the late Walter Paul and Mary Elizabeth (Doneff) Crawford. Mary was a devoted homemaker to her family, and was a caretaker at Goosepond Retirement Village for many years. She enjoyed shopping, camping at Apple Valley and especially loved vacationing in Florida and spending Christmas time with her family at Disney World for the past 20 years. She dearly loved her family and her dogs and will be missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Henry E. “Hank” Wilson, whom she married May 6, 1977; children, Elizabeth “Beth Ann” (Michael) Rian, Brandy (Greg) Wilson-Vickers, Melanie (Troy) Wilson-Mason and Henry “Hankie” (Brooklyn) Wilson III; grandchildren, Summer, Sydney, Kyndal, Eleanor, Lily, Eddie, Teddy and Lucy; great grandson, Denver; mother-in-law, Florence Wilson; and her loving dogs, Princess, Precious, Ginger and Eddie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a father-in-law, Henry “Pat” Wilson. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary to the Licking County Humane Society. A memorial service, celebrating Mary’s life, will be held at a later date. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Mary and her family.
