A funeral service celebrating the life of Mary L. Alspach, 87, of Thornville, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024 with Pastor Doug Lynn officiating at Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Friends may call from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street, Thornville. Mary Passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born in Newark on September 13, 1936, the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Snyder) Hunt. She was a licensed cosmetologist and operated her own beauty shop for many years. Mary was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Thornville, she enjoyed bowling and riding her Goldwing motorcycle; and also loved to Travel, garden and can produce from her own garden. She is survived by her loving family: son Charles “Nick” (Rhonda) Alspach; her son-in-law Randy Cremeans; her grandchildren Drew (Brittney) Cremeans, Tyler (Donna) Cremeans, Nicholas (Taylor) Alspach, Taylor and Leah Alspach; great-grandchildren Brooks Cremeans, Cameron and Norah Alspach; her brothers David (Marilyn) Hunt and James (Marlene) Hunt; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Alspach, who preceded her in death on April 12, 2023; her daughter Stephanie Cremeans, who tragically passed away on May 6, 2024; and her brothers William and Robert Hunt, and sister Judy Bevard.
