Mary C. Davis

Mary C. Davis, age 68, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.

Mary was born March 1, 1952 in Newark, Ohio to the late Charles F. and Ethel Bell (Amspaugh) Siegle. Mary was a long-time member of the CMFO (Country Music Fellowship Organization) and enjoyed singing with the CMFO Sweethearts. She was a lover of music and you could certainly tell that by her very large collection from older to newer styles of music. She also enjoyed collecting frogs and angels. Mary loved her family and friends and her beloved dog, Binky. She was a member of the Newark Eagles. Mary was known to be somewhat of a stubborn person. She was Jehovah Witness and she stood by her beliefs. A homemaker, Mary enjoyed cooking, canning, baking and crocheting. She had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her flower beds.

She leaves behind three children, Robin (Thomas) Parker, Fred David Davis, Jr. (Carol Molder) and Mark E. Davis; adopted daughter, Tammy (Ron) Galiher; grandchildren, Nicole (Andrew) Botter-Dillon, William Kiser, Shannon Roderick, Paul Silverwood, Jr., Rylan Davis, Kaysen Davis, Jasmine Galiher and Aubrianna Galiher;  great-grandchildren, Neal Botter-Dillon, Ember Sky Kiser, Zander Silverwood and Zayla Silverwood; sisters, Sophia Rimrot and Debra (Glenn) Speight; many nieces, nephews, family, friends and her beloved Binky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Fred David Davis, who died on October 20, 2020; a great-grandson, Zyler Silverwood; sisters, Annabell Sayatovich Kovacs and Louella Siegle Moran; brothers, Milton Sayatovich, Jerry Sayatovich, Charles Siegle and Martin Siegle; and longtime friend, Donald E. Kent.

The family will have a private inurnment at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
