Mary Frances Hupp-Gordon, 81, of Thornville, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born on November 9, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Van Dee and Mary Willie (Stephens) Calvert. Mary was a lifetime member of AmVets Post 51, Thornport Ladies Auxiliary, The American Legion Auxiliary, and a 60 year member of Edgar Orr, Post 342, Thornville.She is survived by her loving family: children, Randy (Marilyn) Hupp, Monica (Keith) Rutledge, Mike (Janet) Hupp, Dick Hupp, and Becky Brecht (Jim Hughlett); grandchildren: Lincoln (Jenny) Rutledge, Molly (Ron) Martin, Joe (Laurie) Hupp, Tom (Mindy) Hupp, Nicole (Shawn) Rooney, Kim (Vince) Williams, Sean Hupp, James (Amy) Hupp, Stephanie Hupp, Landon and Uriah Brecht, Dwayne Cox, and Angie Grimm; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Dobbins and Carmen King, a brother, Sonny (Dot) Calvert, and several nieces, nephews, sister and brother in-laws. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years and father of their children, Willard Meridith Hupp; second husband, Lewis Gordon; and a brother, Larry Calvert.A funeral service, celebrating Marys life, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St., with Pastor Beth Bateson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Glenford.
