Mary Jones

A funeral service for Mary E. Jones, age 90, of Heath, will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Celebrant Fr. JCP Sullivan, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Mary was born in Zanesville, Ohio on December 25, 1923 to the late Lewis and Ines (Mayle) Holbert. She passed away on February 25, 2014 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Mary was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church; and the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery and was a devoted homemaker to her husband and three daughters. Survivors include her daughters, Joyce A. (Eddie Burston) Jones of Heath, Janice E. Wallace of Heath and Teresa A. (George) Stone of Silver Spring, MD; brother, Woodrow Holbert of Newark; grandchildren, Rachel Wallace, Jimmy Wallace and David Wallace; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Wallace and Xaiden Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Jones in 1992; three brothers and four sisters.
