Mary A. Kinser

A private graveside service for Mary A. Kinser, 87 of Newark, will be held at a later date in Jacksontown Cemetery, in Jacksontown, Ohio. Mary passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital, due to a sudden illness she was unable to overcome. She was born in Columbus, Ohio April 3, 1937 to parents, Russell Pinney and Betty Collins, who have since passed. She is survived by her children, Joe (Linda) Hamm, Dottie (Ron) Grady, Lloyd Kinser, Jimmy (Patricia) Kinser, and Bobbie Kinser. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her oldest daughter, Linda Parmer, who passed in September 2020. Mary retired from Longaberger and Licking Memorial Hospital. She loved working and meeting people. She loved collecting Longaberger baskets and giving her children Longaberger pottery collectibles at Christmas. Mom also loved visiting with her grandkids, catching up with whatever was new in their life. Mom also was a heck of a cook and baker and was known for her homemade pies of all kinds, along with chocolate zucchini cake with chocolate peanut butter icing. Mary’s wishes upon death were to be buried with her husband. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Mary and her family.
