Mary Jane Linnabary

Mary Jane Linnabary went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2021. She was born on September 20, 1931, in Franklin Co. Jane was a woman of great faith who loved her family and friends dearly.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ralph Linnabary, Jr. Her parents- Robert and Margaret Wurm, her sister Karol (Fong) Tom, brother-Gerald (Iris) Wurm, daughter-in-law- Deborah Linnabary and grandson- Cory Linnabary.

She is survived by sons- Steven Linnabary and Joel (Debra), daughters Rebecca (Robert) Rayner and Carrie (Robert) Breech; grandchildren- Robert (Mikki) Rayner, Jody (Melissa) Linnabary, Olivia Rayner, Drew Linnabary, Collin Pete (Hannah) Linnabary, Nik Breech, Vladimir Breech, Emma Breech; great-grandchildren- Robert Rayner IV, Millicent Rayner, Hailee Longshore, Roselyn Linnabary, Charlotte Linnabary. She also is survived by countless friends and relatives, too numerous to list.

After her graduation from Mifflin H.S. in 1949, Jane had numerous jobs. She worked at the Farm Bureau, Western Electric, Lazarus and the State of Ohio. She always said her most important job was to be a wife and mother. She was extremely successful in both of these endeavors.

Jane was a faithful member of the Kirkersville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing art, walks on the beach, spending time with family and friends. Her special place was spending time at Sanibel Island with Ralph. Her cooking skills were legendary, as skill she inherited from her mothers and passed on to her daughters. Her back porch was a sanctuary to all. It was a place to laugh, talk and enjoy a glass of wine.

A celebration of this wonderful lady’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday October 10, 2021 at the Kirkersville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers Jane would ask that donations be made to the Church at P.O. Box 7, Kirkersville, Ohio 43033 or to your personal house of worship.
