Mary Jane Mccarthy

Mary Jane McCarthy, 74, of Pickerington, died Friday, May 6, 2022, at Signature Healthcare of Galion. She was born August 31, 1947, in Columbus to the late Stephen and Margaret (Conklin) Nessley. Mary was a member of Seton Parish in Pickerington for over 35 years. She worked at Bishop Hartley as head of food service and retired after 25 years. Mary enjoyed crafting, playing Bingo, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Stephen McCarthy; children, Kathy (David) DePauw and Stephen (Amy) McCarthy Jr.; grandchildren, Markie (Trevor) Ditmars, Ann DePauw, Travis McCarthy, John DePauw, Trista (Derek) Short, Daniel DePauw, and Francesca DePauw; great grandchildren, Bentley Ditmars, Layla Ditmars, Charlotte Ditmars, and Eevie DePauw; and brothers, James (Debra) Nessley and David (Phyllis) Nessley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Christopher Clutter.
