Mary Taylor

A funeral service for Mary Margaret Taylor, 74, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015, in the Thornville Chapel of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with Minister Kyle Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, near Jacksontown. Mary died late Saturday evening, January 10, 2015 following an extended illness. She was born March 19, 1940 in VanAtta, Licking County. She was a graduate of Utica H.S., class of 1958, and was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her family, traveling and country music. She spent much of her life passionately worrying about her children as well as being a devoted wife. She also enjoyed ice cream on sunny boat rides with family on Buckeye Lake. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Millersport. She is survived by her loving family: Sherry (Terry) Clagg, Donna (Taylor) Walters, Mark (Julie) Taylor and Barry (Haley) Taylor; grandchildren Lindsey, Ashlee, Chelsea, Sarah, Sydney, and Alex; brothers John (Nancy) Glecker Butch Harold (Sharon) Gleckler, along with her beloved canine companion: Foxy. The family would like to extend special thanks to devoted caregiver Lisa Oxier, and Naomi from the Licking County Aging program. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 15, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. at the HOSKINSON Funeral Home, 56 S. Main Street in Thornville.
