Mary Louise Zollinger, 87, formerly of Millersport, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Pickering House Hospice in Lancaster.

She was born March 22, 1937 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Eugene and Bernadine (Emrich) Manson. She was a graduate of Columbus West High School, class of 1955.

Mary Lou began her career at the Town and Village Insurance Company in Columbus, then worked for the Millersport Bank and retired after 20 years as Treasurer at Walnut Township Local Schools.

Mary Lou was a member of the Millersport Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Verna L. Hale and Barbara A. (Phil) Stuart, her brother Eugene Manson, her daughter-in-law Karla Zollinger and most importantly her best friend and beloved husband Jack W. Zollinger, who preceded her in death in 1990.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving family: sons Jay K. Zollinger and Scott Zollinger; her granddaughters Krystal K. (Kirk) Washburn, Kristen A. (Austin) Nye; her great grandchildren Luke, Lucy and Lainey Washburn and Mason and Paxton Nye; along with her special niece Stacie Rizer and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. A funeral service celebrating her life will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Terry Amspaugh as celebrant. Mary Lou will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Jack in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Lancaster.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Millersport Methodist Church or FairHoPe Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
