Funeral services for Maxine B. Hunt, of Pickerington, will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation service with Pastor Matthew VanWinkle as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.Maxine died Sunday evening, April 26, 2015, in Newark following an extended illness. She was born in Boone County, W.V., on August 3, 1928, the daughter of the late Willard and Pearl (Dillon) Workman. She was a lifelong homemaker.Survived by her family: son Tom Hunt of Columbus, foster sons Timothy and William Burton, four grandchildren Stephanie Hunt-Theophilus, Jason Hunt, Adam and Jeff Hammacker, four great-grandchildren, sisters Mary Glenn, Janet Bray, June Carter, Rose Blair, Nadine Holstein, and Nina Workman, many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret Hammacker, husband William O. Hunt, brothers Dewey Workman, Delmer Workman, sisters Shirley Workman, Nola Workman, Louella Thompson and Joyce Workman.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville.An on-line guest register is available at hoskinsonfuneral.com
