Melinda Sue Snyder

A funeral service celebrating the life of Melinda Sue “Mindy” Snyder, age 60, of Zanesville, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service.

Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.

Mindy was born April 17, 1963 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Joe Oris Lee Snyder, Sr. and the late Sharon Elaine (Shaffer) Snyder. She passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Mindy was known by her family and friends to be very much of a free spirit. She loved cooking and desserts were her specialty. An avid OSU fan, Mindy loved to play Bingo.

She is survived by three sons, Joshua (Crystal) Snyder, Willis “Dink” (Corree) Draper, and Jesse Draper (Tereasa Vess); grandchildren, Dylan, Jensen, and Taylor Snyder, Tyler, Ezra, Lucas, EJ, Joey, and Levi Draper, and Aubrie Draper; sisters, Tammy Snyder Zavala and Lori Snyder; brothers, Joe Snyder, Jr. and Robert Snyder, Sr.; and many nieces and nephews.
